Q&A › Worship in the home

🕌 Worship in the home · #128

How can worship strengthen me as an exhausted single mother or father?

Worship is an inner source of energy that never runs out, a place to lay down burdens no human can carry. Allah teaches: “Seek help through patience and prayer” (Surah al-Baqarah 2:153). Make prayer a regular rest, not an extra burden, and pour out all your hardships to Allah in supplication. Short dhikr throughout the day calms a troubled heart. Involve the children in simple worship so that the home stays alive with religion even without a spouse. Do not abandon worship because you are too busy; a little that continues is better. This strength makes you a shelter for your children. See du'a & prayer.
