How can I lead my family towards worship without making it a painful compulsion?

Lead towards worship by example and encouragement, because a heart cannot be forced to love something. Be the first to get up for prayer and the last to leave a good deed, so your family follows because they see, not because they are forced. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Indeed, gentleness is not found in anything except that it adorns it” (Sahih Muslim, Book of Virtue, Joining of Ties and Good Manners). Invite gently, celebrate small steps, and do not scold them when they are weak. Make worship enjoyable: short congregational prayers, reading together, and supplication.
