Q&A › Worship in the home

🕌 Worship in the home · #124

While seeking help for my marriage, how can worship help me stay calm and clear-headed?

Worship is where you draw strength and calm throughout this exhausting process. Allah says: “in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” (Surah ar-Ra'd 13:28), so make prayer, dhikr and supplication your daily support. Pour out all your sorrow to Allah; that eases a burden you cannot express to people. Look after your sleep, eating and rest, because a tired body weakens patience. Worship does not replace the effort to get help, but it strengthens you to keep going. Surround yourself with friends who remind you of good. With a calm heart, you make clearer decisions. See du'a & prayer.
