How do I tell the difference between a true intuition and baseless suspicion about my spouse?

A true intuition stands on real evidence, while empty suspicion stands only on images in the mind. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most untruthful of speech” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6064). Before judging, ask yourself: is this based on things you actually saw, or only on assumptions and comparisons? If there is a real concern, you can ask your spouse openly and give room for an explanation, rather than investigating in secret. If there is no evidence, do not let your mind build a story.
