My spouse wants to track my location all the time. Is this a sign of love or of control?

Knowing each other's movements openly is different from tracking every step out of distrust. Sharing location is sometimes useful for safety, but when it becomes constant surveillance, it erodes trust and personal space. Ask your spouse what they are really worried about, and deal with that cause, not just its symptoms. Agree on reasonable limits together: openness, yes, but without having to report every minute. If the tracking comes with anger whenever you cannot be reached for a while, that is a sign of control that needs addressing. Consider a counsellor's help if it is suffocating the relationship. See relationship psychology.
