In the country where we live, prayer times are hard to keep because of school and work. What can we do?

Prayer can still be kept up abroad with a little planning and the confidence to perform it without embarrassment. Teach the children the local prayer times and how to pray at school or at work, including combining prayers (jamak) when truly necessary according to the conditions of a traveller. Set up a clean corner at home and pray in congregation when possible to lift your spirits. Train the children to see that being different as a Muslim is nothing to be ashamed of.
