I am nervous about having to speak before the judge. How do I put my view across well?
Speak honestly, briefly and based on facts; the judge wants to understand your household's situation, not hear a perfect speech. Write notes before you go: how long you have been married, the number of children, monthly spending, how your husband provides maintenance, and what worries you. Answer each question calmly, and ask for it to be repeated if you do not understand. It is not wrong to express feelings, for example ‘I am worried the children will be neglected’, as long as you give real examples. The Qur'an itself records “the word of the woman who complains to you concerning her husband” (Surah al-Mujadilah 58:1). Avoid painting your husband worse than the truth. See court checklist.
