Are online pre-marriage courses accepted for a marriage application?

Some organisers offer online courses, but only courses recognised by the state religious authority are accepted. Make sure the organiser is listed or approved by the state Islamic religious affairs department before you register. Be wary of adverts promising an ‘instant’ certificate without real sessions. If possible, take the course together with your future spouse so you both hear the same things and can discuss them afterwards.
