What is the best way for a husband to tell his wife he wants to take another wife?

Openly, early, face to face and with full respect — do not let your wife find out from others. Choose a calm time, state the real reasons without blaming your wife, and listen to her feelings without interrupting. Explain concrete plans: finances, the rotation of nights, housing and the assurance that her rights will not be affected. Give her time to think; do not press for an immediate answer.
