A child I breastfed has become my mahram. Does he also inherit from me?

No; breastfeeding makes someone a mahram, but it does not make him an heir. Faraid (Islamic inheritance) follows only ties of lineage and marriage. A milk child can mix with your family like any other mahram and be loved like your own child, but his name will not appear on the faraid certificate. If you want him to receive a token of your love after you are gone, there are two ways: a gift during your lifetime (hibah), or a will (wasiat) of no more than one third of your estate. Plan this together with your spouse, and explain it to your own children early on, so the gift is accepted with an open heart. See mahram.
