How do we keep our intimate life private when there are young children at home?
Keeping your intimacy out of the children's sight and hearing is part of the etiquette of family life. Make sure the bedroom has a lock or a barrier, and teach the children to knock and ask permission before entering, especially at certain times. Choose times when the children are asleep or out of the house for time together. Keep your voices down and be careful with children who are growing older and understand more. This is not hiding something wrong, but protecting purity and healthy boundaries. A home that respects privacy teaches children the meaning of dignity and boundaries from a young age.
