After a lawful polygamous marriage, should the husband update employer records, nominations and official documents?
Yes, and it is important for protecting each wife's and child's rights: update next-of-kin details, nominations, takaful and employment benefits so that no wife or child is left out.
Allah commands that trusts be rendered to those entitled (an-Nisa' 4:58) and that important matters be recorded (al-Baqarah 2:282).
