I feel bored with my wife and attracted to someone new. Is polygyny the solution?

Boredom is a normal phase in a long marriage, and solving it by chasing someone new usually moves the problem rather than fixing it. The early passion of every relationship fades; what keeps it alive is effort, not changing people. Revive your marriage: spend time together, improve communication, and appreciate your wife. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Let no believing man hate a believing woman. If he dislikes one of her traits, he will be pleased with another” (Sahih Muslim, Book of Suckling). If, after honest effort, you are still sure you can be fair and your intention is right, polygyny is a separate decision, not a cure for boredom. Do not let passing feelings steer a lasting trust.
